New Music:
Hope you have had a chance to listen to the two new songs, "Anxiety" and "Good Times"! These songs will possibly be a part of the EP I am currently recording. If not, they will be available as single downloads in the music store. I recorded these songs with a producer in Chicago. However, I will be recording the rest of the EP with a different producer. I have been in contact with a few producers in Chicago, and in other cities as well, about my EP and I will hopefully continue recording soon.

Website Updates:
I have been making little changes to the website. I updated my bio in the About page and I am going to be adding more content to the Home page. I have been going over a few different ideas for my Blog as well. Please make sure to check out my blog for music, pictures, and more!

Since July I have been working with a great muscian and producer. We recorded two songs together, "Anxiety" and "Good Times", and they are finally ready! I am so excited to share some new music with you! I will be posting these two new songs on abbyfeferman.com very soon! I am fixing up different parts of the website right now and will post the songs once I am finished website updates. I can't wait to get these new songs out there. Have a great day! :)

New Music:
I began recording new music in July. I am working with a great musician/producer named Matt who has already taught me a lot about the recording process. When I met with him about a month ago, I recorded some rough demos of the songs I will be recording, just so he could get a feel for my style of music. We met again a couple of weeks later to listen to some rhythm guitar tracks that Matt had recorded. They sounded great! We also met to discuss different music options. Matt and I are going to be meeting with two great musicians who will be recording drums and bass sometime this week or early next week! They are Matt's good friends who work at his studio as well. I am excited to meet with them and I am looking forward to hearing them track drums and bass!
New Web Design:
I have been working on different ideas for a new web design. I like to keep the website looking fresh and a great way to do that is by updating the web design every once in a while. If I do decide to change the website, it will probably be close to the design I will be using for the EP cover. I am still working a few different designs, and once I choose cover, I will post some pictures to give you a preview of what the new website design will look like.
I am excited to record more of the EP over the next few weeks! I can't wait to share more music updates with you! Take care.

This week I met with a musician and recording studio owner. We recorded rough demos of new music, and I really feel like he understands what I'm trying to say and do with my music, and the direction I hope to take with it. That is a great feeling! We are going to be meeting again soon to start recording some guitar and vocals. Please check back here soon for more new music updates!

I am happy to announce that I will begin recording some new music in the middle of July! I am always writing and working on new music, and I have been wanting to record these songs for a while now. Although I did have to push it off for a few months, for many reasons, I am very excited that I will now be able to record! I have met with the producer I will be working with and have officially booked dates at his studio. This producer is a very sweet and talented person who has worked with many great artists, and I can't wait to start working with him!
I can't wait to share this music with you. I will keep you updated on everything regarding new music.

I will temporarily be removing the site-wide music player. You can still hear a couple of songs on my ReverbNation page. Those songs will be up for a little while, but they will be taken down sometime over the next couple of weeks. You might be wondering why I am removing my music from my music pages. As many of you know, the songs that I have posted on this website as well as on my other music pages are two demos that I recorded last summer. For a number of reasons the songs were not recorded as they should have been and I feel they are not a representation of the music I make.
I am recording new music this summer! When those songs are ready I will put the site-wide music player back and add the new songs. At that time the new music will be available for purchase in the Abby Feferman Music store. I am excited to share new music with you! I will be posting more updates regarding new music when I have more details. Please check back here soon! :)

Hello, everyone!
I can't believe it's already April, but I must admit, I am loving the warmer weather! Chicago winters can get extremely cold, and I'm very excited for spring! I apologize for not sending out a March newsletter. I was having some issues with my computer, and I didn't want to send out any emails until the issues were fixed. Thankfully, my computer is working well now, and I have been preparing the April newsletter, which will be sent out later today or tomorrow.
I have been writing a lot of new music, and I will be recording some of it early this summer! I will send out more updates regarding new music in the April newsletter. Happy Friday!
I hope everybody had a great week! Last week I had a really nice talk with a friend of mine who works in the music business. I needed some advice and he really helped me out a lot! Thankful for that. This week I had some great phone meetings with a bunch of recording studios in Chicago, and I'm in currently in the middle of working out some fun new ideas for my music! As I mentioned in my last update I recently moved to Ann Arbor for a few months, but I have been keeping in touch with producers I hope to work with in Chicago. Some opportunities that I was looking into in Chicago are now available to me, right when I move to another state! Timing can be crazy sometimes! I'm still looking into different options that are available to me now, both in Chicago and Ann Arbor, and I am still in the process of deciding what would be best for me and my music right now.
Also, I decided I'm going to start sending out a monthly newsletter. I was sending out a mailing list newsletter every once in a while, but in order to better keep in touch, I decided to send out one main newsletter once a month, with other shorter emails throughout the month if needed. If you're already on the mailing list, you don't need to do anything, that means you're already on the list. If you haven't joined the mailing list yet, please do so to receive all the news and updates from Abby Feferman Music! There is a place to add your email to the list on the home page of abbyfeferman.com, as well as in the Contact section. If you are having trouble you can also send me a message through the Contact section to let me know you would like to be added to the mailing list. The February newsletter will be sent out next week.

Hello! I hope everybody had a great weekend! I spent the weekend moving! Crazy! It was really hard to leave Chicago, but I am trying to stay hopeful as I begin this new journey with my music. I am going to be living in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a little while, playing the music scene here, and hopefully making some great new contacts in the music business!
